Welcome to Renee Payne

A proud native of Atlanta Georgia, wedding singer Renee Payne has been involved in the music theater community for more than 25 years and has sung in many churches in and around the metro Atlanta area.  

Singing in a classical as well as contemporary style, Renee loves to vocally make music in any genre.  Some of her favorite theater credits include Man of La Mancha, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Evita,Into the Woods and Children of Eden as well as over a dozen Gilbert and Sullivan light operettas. In addition to performing three seasons at the Georgia Renaissance Festival singing 4-part accapella madrigals,Renee had the pleasure of recording an original piece of music written by local composer Bo Ketchin featuring the wonderful words of Willam Shakespere and performed by the Atlanta Notables Accapella Ensemble.

Renee feels fortunate to have studied with many notable teachers including: Jeanne Brown McDonald, Sally Priester, John O’ Neil and Courtenay Collins. This has allowed Renee to truly use her vocal gifts to their fullest potential.

With more than 200 Weddings/Funerals and church related events to her credit, Renee has performed in all denominational Christian Church settings.
